The Jackie Macaulay Auction makes it possible for PILF and WLSA to offer scholarships each year that encourage students to pursue a career in public interest law.

Last year, a quarter of UW law grads last year went into public interest, government, externships, internships, or clerkships. The summer positions that help students prepare for those jobs are typically low or unpaid. We refuse to let financial constraints keep talented students from pursuing public interest law.

Our sponsors play a critical role in making these scholarships possible; we invite you to be a part of this group and to help educate this generation of public interest attorneys. On behalf of the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Public Interest Law Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, and Women’s Law Student Association to ask you to consider sponsoring our organizations’ 11th-annual Jackie Macaulay Auction.
