Sponsorship

The Jackie Macaulay Auction makes it possible for PILF and WLSA to offer scholarships each year that encourage students to pursue a career in public interest law.

In 2024, 29.7% of the UW-Law’s graduating class went into public interest or government jobs, exceeding the national average of 22.6% for the same fields.

The summer positions that help students prepare for those jobs are typically low or unpaid. We refuse to let financial constraints keep talented students from pursuing public interest law.

Our sponsors play a critical role in making these scholarships possible; we invite you to be a part of this group and to help educate this generation of public interest attorneys. On behalf of the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Public Interest Law Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, and Women’s Law Student Association to ask you to consider sponsoring our organizations’ annual Jackie Macaulay Auction.

This year’s auction will be held on March 7, 2026.

We offer five levels of sponsorship to interested donors. If you are interested in a specialized sponsorship option that works best for you or your firm, we would be happy to work with you to create an alternative sponsorship option.
